As Managing Director, Americas, Dawen is responsible for sales, marketing, customer experience, and operations for the Americas region, which includes Canada, the United States, and Latin America. Dawen joined Copperleaf in 2021 as General Manager of Market Development where she implemented strategies and processes for pursuing new market opportunities. She also expanded Copperleaf’s best practices in capital planning into additional industries to help clients address the growing challenges and opportunities related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets and planning.
Prior to Copperleaf, Dawen held various leadership roles at Boeing, where she launched a portfolio of advanced analytics solutions, led the data science team, and established the first digital aviation lab. She also served as a management consultant at Capgemini UK where she collaborated with FTSE 100 clients across a variety of sectors, including energy, financial services, and manufacturing and distribution—and had an absolute blast working in a little town in Denmark with LEGO.
Dawen holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Master of Management in Operations Research from the University of British Columbia. Outside of work, you can find Dawen on the mountains hiking or skiing, travelling the world by various modes including cycle touring, and playing the ukulele to her daughter.
