Region & Travel:

Your role will be based between your home and client sites in Singapore and within Asia Pacific & Japan (in line with Government travel restrictions). Your schedule and home location are flexible – balance your time to suit you!

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture
    • Developing technical solutions, project scoping, and enterprise architecture for prospective customers
    • Designing process improvements and helping prospects visualize and understand how Copperleaf solutions would fit in their enterprise
    • Providing input towards product advancements to meet emerging and competitive requirements in the marketplace
  • Product Sales and Demonstrations
    • Sales Meetings:
      • Preparing presentation materials and conducting relevant research to ensure adequate positioning of our product at prospect engagements
      • Presenting our products (slides, demonstrations) at sales engagements, from very early prospecting stages all the way through to final stages of a deal
      • Running discovery workshops to learn more about the prospects’ challenges and drawing insights to inform the sales approach
    • Demo Management:
      • Working with product teams to manage demo content, demo environments, demo scripts, and other technical requirements
    • Identifying and managing prospects at different seniority levels; developing sales strategies to reach a closed sale
    • Attending conferences/trade shows and working in Copperleaf’s booth to interact with prospects and provide ad hoc demonstrations as required
  • Technical Expertise
    • Completing proposals and responding to RFxs

A cross-functional team working on Copperleaf’s core product, Copperleaf Suite, is looking for a talented engineer to join the team and contribute directly. You would be working on the backend system that runs the Value Framework. The Value Framework is a collection of custom decision-making algorithms specific to each client. A key focus is enabling Value Framework Developers to easily modify their Value Framework. Expect to work on projects such as simplifying framework upgrades and migrations, providing better debugging tools, and improving testability. You can also expect to work on large architectural projects as we tackle maintainability and performance. Additionally, you will work with other development teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
  • Collaborate with other development teams on cross-product initiatives
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests covering Value Framework functionality
  • Remove performance bottlenecks in the Value Framework
  • Work closely with downstream teams to understand their pain points and develop new features to mitigate them

 Your background:

  • Proficient in C# and .NET Framework or a similar technology stack such as Spring and Java
  • Knowledge of code smells, design patterns and refactoring
  • Familiarity with building RESTful web applications
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, design patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Can work independently or in a small cross-functional team
  • Good communication skills and comfortable talking with developers from other teams
  • Familiar with Agile development, continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git is a plus
  • Knowledge of Angular and/or AngularJS is a plus
  • Experience with writing unit tests is a plus

You’ll be working on the Asset module of the Copperleaf solution, which allows customers to predict their asset investment needs based on models of asset failure mode risk, the cost of interventions, and the ability of those interventions to mitigate the failure risks.

We’re looking for an experienced, technically creative Software Developer to join the Guided Investment Management (GIM) team.

Who We Are:

The Guide Investment Management (aka GIM) team is a cross-functional team responsible for the stream-lined and guided user-interface additions to the investment areas of Copperleaf Portfolio. We are a small team of bright, kind, and supportive individuals who are proud of the solutions they help build.

Responsibilities:

You will be contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new features for the Copperleaf product suite. Many of these features span our full technology stack. 

Desired Experience:

Ideally you have the following experience, but we also recognize that talent comes in many forms of transferable skills:

  • Experience working with object-oriented programming and relational databases
    • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with C#, .NET, and Oracle database
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and/or TypeScript)

Software Developer (Spain)

Copperleaf’s software helps some of the world’s largest firms make better strategic decisions, and have a track record of delivering award-winning, industry-changing solutions.

Copperleaf Cost Estimation is an option within our Product Suite used to generate cost estimates via parameterised models. Our offering can be used to calculate a range of different project costs, from the financial costs of investments to environmental costs such as carbon emissions. With our growing customer base in Europe, we would like to create a small team dedicated to Cost Estimation based in Spain.

We’re looking for a developer who enjoys working as part of a relatively independent team, experienced with developing web apps, to join the development team for Cost Estimation. Your responsibilities include understanding the product, the needs of the client and collaborating with Customer Experience and Technical Sales to design, implement, review, and test new features as well as maintain existing ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design, planning, development, review, testing, and maintenance of features
  • Investigate, fix, and document issues
  • Work on a variety of tasks to help the team deliver
  • Advocate for resolution of technical debt over feature work when appropriate

About You:

  • Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js

Your role will be based between your home and client sites in Japan and within Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) (in line with Government travel restrictions). Your schedule and home location are flexible – balance your time to suit you!

Fluent Japanese and business English would be of great benefit for the role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities generating license, support and services revenue
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients and stakeholders at a senior executive level with key decision makers
  • Work with business consultants to understand prospect’s current business practices and strategic drivers, develop and identify pain points and create a vision for solving these key pain points
  • Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position our solution
  • Drive a sales process that will highlight our solution as a strategic advantage to the prospect
  • Routinely discuss and communicate opportunity plan sales strategy with other members of the account team, as well as field and corporate management
  • Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline of opportunities (prospects and suspects) within CRM

Requirements:

  • You’re an expert in solution selling and value based selling methodologies
  • You have experience and are comfortable selling enterprise software to C level executives
  • You know how to navigate complex organizations and have experience with the Complex Sale methodology
  • You can position new business within the account by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value proposition
  • You’re an enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem-solving skills
  • You have dynamic presentation skills, ability to articulate customer problems and challenges, and then link them to the value proposition
  • You have general familiarity with consultative selling training methodologies
  • Experience in asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector or Transportation is desirable
  • Engineering or analytical Bachelor’s degree
